There you can meditate, leave your luggage for a day, take shower or spend time in the beautiful park nearby. There are many cafes and supermarkets in the area and you can bring your food to the hall. From 14:00 a cafe with coffee, tapas, and cakes will start working.
After lecture at the center - the hall is open again getting together at the cafe with lounge music and friends.
The program with Sherab Gyaltsen Rinpoche and Lama Ole will take place in the garden of the Buddhist center at Svanemøllevej 56, 2100 Copenhagen Ø.
Please bring your own matts, blankets and cushions (part of the sitting places will on the grass and on asphalt road).
The course area will be open for entry from 15:00 on Friday, 19th of July.
The area for the tent surrounded by buildings and streets. Therefore the course is limited to 3000 participants.
At the second venue we will hold practice explanations with travelling teachers and social events. It will be possible to meditate there and be together after the program at the Buddhist center finishes.

Distance between the course locations is 2 km.
You can walk appr. 30 minutes by foot via Stranvejen and Østerbrogade. Or can take bus 1A from bus stop Gl. Vartov Vej (Strandvejen) to bus stop Århusgade (Østerbrogade).
The course is fully booked. Unfortunately it is not possible to register for the course anymore neither pay for the course on site.

The inauguration of the Copenhagen Victory Stupa is a celebration of the historical moment in 1972, when Hannah and Ole Nydahl first brought the timeless transmission of the Buddhist Karma Kagyu lineage from H.H. the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje to Denmark and then during the next forty-seven years spread it to the West.
